Vivek Vyaspeeth was formally registered as an NGO in 1997, as a trust and since then it has been functional for the last 26 years. From its inception, it has conducted various social events/programs through various visual mediums, which have created public & social awareness and empowered the society. Vivek Vyaspeeth produced multiple documentary films, short films, Tv programs etc. to educate and entertain through the indigenous stories.

Vivek Vyaspeeth has already ventured into the commercial Movie Production Industry with the “Vivek Films” as they plan, already underway, to produce mainstream full length Hindi Feature Films. With the experience of producing Marathi Documentary & Docu-drama films in the past like “Lokmanya” & “Kalajayi Savarkar”, Vivek Vyaspeeth is now exploring the Hindi movie base with some bigger canvas commercial movies and they have already initiated working on their first mainstream movie production, it will be announced soon publicly. Vivek Films aims at making films to showcase the cultural richness of India through meaningful and entertaining cinema.

Veerbhumi Parikrama ani Vichar Jagran Saptah 2023

Vivek Vyaspeeth and Tourism Ministry (Maharashtra Government) jointly organised a state level program called ‘Veerbhumi Parikrama ani Vichar Jagran Saptah 2023’ on the occasion of 140th birth anniversary of Swatantryveer Savarkar. During this week-long celebration, different cultural activities were held across the 5 cities of Maharashtra. Namely, Nashik, Mumbai, Pune, Ratnagiri and Sangli.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

On the occasion of 75th years of Independence Vivek Vyaspeeth organised various cultural and arts programs assigned by the Govt of India under Arts Grants Scheme (Repertory Scheme) for Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Kaljayi Savarkar (Docu-Drama Project) 

Kaljayi Savarkar is a docu-drama directed by veteran Adfilm maker Gopi Kukde. In the first half of the film, it encompasses the life journey of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar also known as ‘Swatantryveer Savarkar’. It is narrated by a veteran actor Shri Manoj Joshi as ‘Ancient India’. In the second half of the film, it talks about how today’s new India is tracing the same footprints of Savarkar’s visionary thoughts about India. To summarise, ‘Kaljayi Savarkar’, is a film that talks about Savarkar’s life journey as well as highlights how his thoughts were ahead of his time and today we as a nation are walking on the path envisioned by him.

Durdamya Lokmanya (Documentary Project)

On the occasion of 100th death anniversary of Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a film project was initiated by Vivek Vyaspeeth titled ‘Durdamya Lokmanya’. This documentary directed by Vinod Pawar. Late veteran actor Vikram Gokhale played the role of narrator in the film. This documentary film was telecast on Doordarshan.

Republic 50

On the occasion of 50th Republic day of India, the Central government celebrated  it as a historical memorabilia across the nation. Vivek Vyaspeeth had acted as a nodal agency, appointed by the Union Govt of India, Vivek Vyaspeeth organised the different cultural events across Maharashtra as well in Daman & Diu too.

Marma-Bandh

Vivek Vyaspeeth was involved in the project called ‘Marma-Bandh’. It was a weekly very popular TV series which was telecast on Doordarshan in 1997. The story plot was based on the relationship of Lokmanya tilak and Gopal Ganesh Agarkar. Lead characters were played by Pramod Pawar and Sadanand Joshi.

Sakha Majha Dnyaneshwar

Vivek Vyaspeeth produced an episodic program based on the life of great saint – Sant Dnyaneshwar.

Vivek Vyaspeeth, is a non-profit, non-sectarian public charitable trust registered as a Public Charitable Trust under the Public Trust Act, 1950 and Societies Registration Act, 1860. Vivek Vyaspeeth is registered under 12A of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and under section 80G also.
